Right, so this is the boring part of the site where I introduce myself. One day someone will expand and move this to Wikipedia where no-one will object notability of an article like that. Until that day however I have to be my own buzz generator. So, here goes. Brace for impact.

ja_ze_stasiem

Yup, that’s me right there. The one on the right. The boy in the photo is my first born son, Staś. I’m a software developer and amateur pianist based in Poznań, Poland. As you can see I’m also a rookie father and husband.

Nowadays I’m busy heating up LangaCore, a tiny software company I founded in late 2009. This mostly means fierce pursuits to meet deadlines as I am the owner, CEO, CTO and core developer in one person. Things hopefully start to settle down and I have some time at last to dust off this website.

In March 2009 I started DailyImprov.net, a project aiming to deliver a quality piano improvisation on a nearly daily basis. Currently the idea is on hold due to a couple of factors, too many time consuming commitments being probably the most significant. I still plan to come back to the idea this year, now in the process of organizing a dedicated time slot in the weekly schedule.

ambv

I usually use ambv as screen name. It’s pronounced æmb-'viː according to IPA. Its origin is quite simple really.

What’s up with the middle child of history?

Tyler Durden expressed this very clearly himself:
“We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact.”
